The Detail was founded by Laura Sawyer, whose background as a Creative Consultant and Art Director sparked a lifelong commitment to style, strategy and storytelling.
After opening her first location house in 2018 and consulting for premium lifestyle brands, she saw an opportunity to create a studio focused on immersive, human-led brand experiences.
Today, Laura and her team design intimate, sensory events that connect brands and their audiences in a truly unique and unforgettable way.

Based in South London, The Detail works from its inspirational home, The South Wing.
Designed and owned by Laura, The South Wing is a multi-faceted creative space where ideas are explored and tested, from concept to completion.
It also serves as a location house, offering brands an elevated setting to shoot and showcase their collections for digital and print.
Beyond its creative purpose, The South Wing is a cultural house that hosts the South Wing Sessions. Intimate, sensory-less gatherings, the sessions are curated by The Detail to encourage curiosity, community and connection.
