Seeing
We’ve got a date at the Salad Says Market at Battersea Power Station on the 29-30th March. Open from 11am, the market features over 60 independent makers and is the perfect place for birthday gifts or if you’re looking to treat yourself. The market gets super busy, so we advise arriving early!

We’re also heading to the Barbican Centre for the Beatriz González exhibition. From vivid colour palettes to the way she uses texture and textiles, we just know the inspiration will be flowing as soon as we enter the exhibition

Smelling
Following a visit to Top Drawer London earlier in the year, our founder Laura had a fascinating conversation with Lisa, founder of Airo London. Her favourite scent is SEX, designed to boost confidence through aromatherapy’s joyful mandarin, seductive patchouli and emotion-opening ylang ylang notes…perfect for lifting spirits and sparking creativity at home

Mixing
Our March rum cocktail is a Spring Grove. It’s uplifting and fruity but still light and fresh. Reminding us that warmer days are on their way.
In a shaker, combine:
- 50 ml The Open Grove Distiller’s Blend Dark Rum
- 20 ml passionfruit syrup
- 20 ml fresh lime juice
Shake with ice and top with soda. Garnish with a mint sprig and you’ve got yourself a zesty, tropical lift.

Listening
This month we’re gearing up for the release of Elmiene’s album sounds for someone. Released on 27 March, we’ll have his song Reclusive on repeat until then.

Tasting
We’re keeping things local (and heavily wine-themed) with our recommendation this month.
1) Ploussard in Clapham has quickly become our favourite spot for an after-work drink. An extensive wine list and delicious menu. We recommend the salt baked celeriac with the 2016 Oslavje orange wine.

2) We’ll be heading to Dirty Crunch on Lower Addiscombe Road in Croydon for their Italian Wine Tasting night on 26th March. Six wines and antipasti for £48, plus it’s just a short tram ride away from our studio…
