The South Wing Sessions are our intimate, sensory-led gatherings that we hold to develop our ideas and showcase our expertise. What makes them special is that we keep the theme and the entertainment a complete secret until our guests arrive. And even then, there’s no spoilers or clear agenda. All is revealed as the night unfolds, making it immersive and completely captivating.

For our first activation, the cue was “Sound”
Act I, Scene I became a night of rhythm and reflection. We welcomed our guests with a bespoke cocktail, which we developed to set the tone of the evening and give everyone time to settle in. Our guest list is curated for each session and our first evening brought together local Croydon residents who work across a variety of industries but who all share a love for arts and culture.
Then it was time to gather in the living room
We hired actor Talitha Christina to deliver two powerful spoken word performances, both of which we had seen at SXSW London in 2025, so we knew she would hold the room in total stillness. Thought-provoking and electric, her work opened a dialogue that continued in a discussion with our audience immediately afterwards.
Then came the shift in tempo
Musicians HillaryNX and Maniko lifted the energy with a jazz set that was impossible to sit still to. What began in reflection moved naturally into movement, chorus and a lot of laughter.

Next were more cocktails and a speech from our founder, Laura. Hosted at her home and our studio, The South Wing, this first evening was a key moment for her personally and professionally, and dedicated to many important people who have helped shape her and our business.
We often get asked what makes a South Wing Session special, what makes it different from any other event. For us, we believe it’s the sense of discovery. Our guests never know what’s coming and must arrive with an open mind. This allows them to be fully present, suspended for a few hours from the noise of the outside world.
